Mindfulness in the Workplace: Eight-week Program. Sessions are held live in person or virtually. Introduce employees to the benefits of mindfulness and meditation at work with this eight-week program.
(This program is open to individuals or organizations)
Eight 60-minute sessions over 8 weeks that will cover:
  • Introduction to mindfulness with an exploration then builds on this foundation by applying mindfulness to a different context with each class
  • Basics of meditation, its benefits, and how to integrate it into daily life.
  • Practical tools to reduce stress, innovate, communicate effectively, and develop emotional intelligence, compassion, and resiliency.
  • How to develop a daily mindfulness practice
  • Science-backed benefits of meditation and how the practice can specifically help individuals at work
  • Learn how the ways you normally work might be holding you back—and how to change that.
  • Schedule your day for improved efficiency and increased productivity to keep your workload manageable.
  • Develop mindfulness habits that have the ability to replace old and un-useful habits.
  • Discover the secret to real and long-lasting happiness.
The Mindfulness in the Workplace class helps your organization integrate simple, practical, scientifically-backed mindfulness practices into work (and home) life.

Week 1 - Basics/Mindfulness of Breathing
Week 2  - Mindfulness of Body and Stress
Week 3 - Emotional Intelligence
Week 4 - Mindfulness of Thinking and Thoughts
Week 5 - Compassion and Kindness Half-Day Retreat
Week 6 - Communication and Relational Mindfulness
Week 7 – Well-Being and Resilience
Week 8 - Meaning, Integrity, and Moving Forward
What can you expect?
This is not your typical training course. Participants go through the training alongside others who are putting mindfulness into action at work. Unlike mindfulness apps, participants get human interaction to help stay accountable. Extra support is available in our private Facebook group, where participants can ask questions and interact with each other and with the course’s facilitator, Chris George.
Chris is also available to answer individual questions via email and during the three live webinar sessions. Participants can track their own progress, and group leaders can track the progress of team members to ensure the training has been utilized.

Expectations
The program requires effort and consistency. Mindfulness and meditation can only be of lasting value if you have the discipline to practice regularly, as well as the motivation to try and be mindful throughout your day. Daily practice is expected.
Meditation is an important part of mindfulness, whether you initially enjoy it or not, as it awakens you to your current situation. When you practice with an alert and open mind for just a little bit of time, you will begin to recognize the benefits that naturally occur and become accustomed to the practice.
