Designed to teach mindfulness, meditation, and stress management to college students. Mindfulness has been shown to provide significant improvement in anxiety, depression, and stress reactivity, and reduce implicit bias for college students.
This workshop teaches participants proven mindfulness awareness and concentration practices. Through guided mindfulness meditation, small group discussions, and mindful movement, students learn how to ease a busy mind, direct and sustain attention, investigate emotions and feelings, cultivate compassion for themselves and others, and improve communication in their relationships.
