Mindfulness is the ability to be fully present, and aware of where we are and what we are doing. It allows us to not be overly reactive or overwhelmed by what is going on around us but change our relationship to it. It allows us to focus awareness on the present moment, calmly acknowledging and accepting our feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Programs for faculty and staff include:
