The Power of Self-Compassion
(One hour to 90 min.)
Practicing self-compassion motivates us to make positive changes in our lives because we care about ourselves and the suffering we are experiencing in our lives and wanted to make progress and improvements. Gain practical skills to help bring self-compassion into your daily life. Develop tools to help handle difficult emotions with greater ease, and to motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism. The six-week class provides opportunities for more in-depth study and practice.
Participants of this program will learn some of the core skills of the 8-week Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program developed by Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer. MSC is an empirically supported and internationally recognized program designed to cultivate self-compassion by teaching skills for responding in a kind, compassionate way whenever we are experiencing painful emotions.

Mindfulness Meditation Drop-In Sessions
Sundays - Time TBA
In-person and online via Zoom
In-person and online via Zoom
With mindfulness, we train ourselves to pay close attention to what is going on in the present moment; just as it is. When we connect with the present moment, we become aware of habitual thought patterns and can start to create new, healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.
No Registration is required, join us every week or whenever you can! Join these weekly sessions to develop a new meditation habit, expand your current practice, and connect with a community of individuals. The format for each gathering varies. The one-hour sessions include two 20-minute mindfulness meditations (the first one is always guided) and a brief opportunity for discussion. Some groups also incorporate short readings or talks by the leader.
